Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

The standards every advertiser, publisher and vault user must meet on AdPlatform: prohibited content and products, truthful advertising requirements, encrypted vault rules, platform integrity, and how we enforce them.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everything you submit to, publish on or transmit through AdPlatform: advertisements, feed posts, dedicated pages, headlines, creatives, images, videos, destination links, landing pages, campaign settings, support messages and any media you lock in the encrypted vault.

It forms part of our Terms of Service. A breach may result in removal of content, suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of fees, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

2. Content that is never allowed

  • Anything unlawful, or that promotes, facilitates or instructs unlawful activity.
  • Sexual content involving minors in any form, and any content that sexualizes minors - reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, revenge content, sexual extortion, or intimate material shared without the documented consent of every person depicted.
  • Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, prostitution, or exploitation of vulnerable people.
  • Incitement to violence or hatred, harassment, bullying, threats, dehumanizing content against any group, or content promoting terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or instructions for making them, and goods that are illegal in the target market.
  • Illegal drugs, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, prescription medicines without a valid licence, and substances presented as safe when they are not.
  • Malware, spyware, ransomware, phishing, credential harvesting, cloaking, deceptive redirects, or any code that harms a device or harvests data.
  • Fraud and scams of any kind: fake giveaways, advance-fee fraud, pyramid and Ponzi schemes, get-rich-quick offers, fake investment and crypto schemes, and impersonation of a brand, person or public body.
  • Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, and the sale of documents, accounts, credentials or personal data.
  • Unlicensed gambling, betting, lotteries or financial services requiring a licence where you do not hold one.
  • Doxxing or publishing another person's personal data, images or private information without consent.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, design, database or personality rights.
  • Deliberately false or misleading information, including health, medical, financial and election disinformation that could cause harm.
  • Content targeting minors with inappropriate products or collecting children's data, and any content that is illegal to advertise to minors.
  • Content that discriminates, or that would breach anti-discrimination law in housing, employment, credit or public accommodation.
  • Products or services subject to sanctions, and any dealing with sanctioned persons or entities.

3. Advertising and creative standards

  • Every claim must be truthful, substantiated before publication, and capable of being proven on request.
  • Prices, terms, conditions, restrictions and material limitations must be clear and prominent; no hidden fees, drip pricing or unstated recurring charges.
  • No bait-and-switch, no mismatched creative and landing page, no fake countdown timers, fake stock counters or fabricated scarcity.
  • No automatic downloads, forced redirects, pop-unders, or interference with the user's browser or navigation.
  • Sponsored, paid or affiliate placements must be disclosed as required by law in the relevant market.
  • Personal data collected through a landing page must be collected lawfully, with notice and a lawful basis, and used only for the purposes disclosed.
  • You must hold all licences, permits and approvals required for your product or service in every market where your advertisement is shown.
  • Adults-only categories may only be advertised where they are lawful and where our formats allow them.

4. Encrypted vault content

Because vault content is encrypted and we cannot read it, the responsibility for its lawfulness rests entirely with you. You confirm that you own or are fully authorized to use every file you lock, that you have the consent required by law from every person depicted, and that the content is lawful in every jurisdiction where it may be opened.

You must never use the vault for unlawful material, intimate images without consent, content involving minors, stolen data or material that infringes someone else's rights. Although we cannot inspect encrypted payloads, we cooperate fully with lawful requests from competent authorities, and we act on credible reports concerning the use of the Platform.

5. Account and platform integrity

  • Do not create fake accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or company.
  • Do not manipulate exposures, impressions, clicks, points or analytics, including through bots, click farms, incentivized clicks or automated traffic.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform, bypass access controls, rate limits or encryption, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, copy or resell Platform content or data, or use the Platform to build a competing service.
  • Do not use the Platform to send unsolicited bulk messages or spam, or to deliver malware through links or creatives.

6. Enforcement

We use a combination of automated screening and human review. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may reject or remove content, pause a campaign, issue a warning, require corrections, withhold exposures, suspend or permanently terminate the account, cancel subscriptions without refund where the law permits, and report the matter to law enforcement or a regulator.

Where we believe there is an imminent risk of harm, or where the content is manifestly illegal, we may act immediately and without prior notice.

7. Reporting a violation

Report unlawful or non-compliant content to legal@adplatform.online, including the relevant page address and a description. Copyright and trademark complaints should follow our Copyright and DMCA Policy. We act on clear and credible notices promptly and keep the reporting party informed where the law requires.

8. Appeals

If your content or account has been restricted, you may appeal by replying to our notice within 14 days, explaining why the decision was wrong and, where relevant, what you have changed. A human reviewer who was not part of the original decision will reconsider it. Appeals do not suspend the original decision unless we say otherwise.
